Musikalischer Reiseführer – Wagner in Karlsruhe

Between 1861 and 1872 the german composer Richard Wagner was visiting seventimes the residental city of Kalrsruhe. He wanted to realize an own opera house but the Grand Duke of Baden couldn`t promote his visions. The film is telling the story about Wagners relation to Karlsruhe what continues until today.
