The Berlin Philharmonics and their instruments

The Berlin Philharmonics are talking about and with their instruments. The stories are amusing, comical or strange, they are fateful, touch and entertain us. However these stories are or whatever they evoke in us they are closely interrelated to the great personality and biography of each musician of the Berlin Philharmonics. In this short portrait-film the french cello player Solène Kermarrec explains why she prefers to play in a group instead to give solo performances, how diverse sound images might be and  – beside her job as beeing a musician of the Berlin Philharmonics – what her second passion is.
