Alva Noto: Xerrox Selected

Alva Noto (Carsten Nicolai) and the stargaze Ensemble with it`s conductor André de Ridder present “Xerrox” as an audiovisuell  overall concept. Carsten Nicolai seeks energy in reduction. Minimalistic, but immensely powerful. And his Xerrox project is likewise an all-embracing audiovisual experience, where he focuses on how replicas develop a life of their own. In a magical metamorphosis, each copy departs even further from its predecessor. At the Elbphilharmonie the artists present themself as two of today’s top names on the boundary between electronica and orchestral music.
